Governor Polis' Executive Orders for 2020

Governor Polis Issues Executive Order Ordering the Temporary Suspension of the Personal Appearance Requirement for Notarization due to the Presence of COVID-19 - issued on 3/27/2020 expires in 30 days. 

Governor Polis Issues a Stay at Home Executive Order for ALL of Colorado - issued on 3/25/2020 effective March 26, 2020 at 6:00am until April 11, 2020 at 11:59pm does include construction as an essential service. Read the explanation of the order Here   Read the full order Here

Adams, Arapahoe & Douglas Counties | Tri County Health Stay at Home Order - issued on 03/25/20 effective March 26 at 8:00 a.m. until April 17 at 11:59 p.m. does include commercial and residential construction as an essential service.

Boulder County Stay at Home Order announced on 03/25/20 effective March 26 at 8:00 a.m. until April 17 at 11:59 p.m. does include commercial and residential construction as an essential service.

Jefferson County Stay at Home Order announced on 03/25/20 effective March 26 at 8:00 a.m. until April 17 at 5:00 p.m. does include commercial and residential construction as an essential service.

03/23/2020 Updates: 

Construction is listed as an essential service per Gov. Polis press conference on Mar 22 and here is a copy of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment public health order

Denver's Stay at Home order announced on 03/23/20 does include construction/skilled trades as an essential service.

City of Boulder Stay at Home order announcement 03/ 23/20 does include construction/skilled trades as an essential service.

Pitkin County (Aspen area) announced a stay at home order on 03/23/20 and does include residential and commercial construction exemptions until March 31, 2020.

San Miguel County Stay at Home order was amended on 03/20/20 halting active residential and commercial construction in the county effective midnight March 21st until April 3 at midnight.  Exemptions are projects necessary to support essential services.
